The vetproof® Brachyspira hyodysenteriae/pilosicoli qPCR Kit will detect and differentiate the presence of DNA from Brachyspira hyodysenteriae and B. pilosicoli in extracts from swine samples (Swabs, Tissues, Faeces, and Environmental samples). Primers and probes are specific for B. hyodysenteriae and B. pilosicoli.
The kit contains all reagents and controls required for the detection of B. hyodysenteriae and B. pilosicoli. Amplified products are detected in real-time via a specific, labelled probe, which is detected in a designated channel on the qPCR thermocycler. B. hyodysenteriae is detected in the FAM channel, B. pilosicoli in the Cy5 channel and an Internal Control (IC) of amplification specific from an exogenous DNA is detected in the HEX channel.
