The vetproof® Lawsonia intracellularis qPCR Kit (Lawsonia qPCR) will detect the presence of DNA from Lawsonia intracellularis in extracts from swine samples (Oral Fluids, Swabs, Tissues, Faeces, Environmental samples). Primers and probes are specific for Lawsonia intracellularis.
The kit contains all reagents and controls required for the detection of Lawsonia intracellularis. Amplified products are detected in real-time via a specific labelled probe, which is detected in a designated channel on the qPCR thermocycler. Lawsonia intracellularis is detected in the FAM channel and an Internal Control (IC) of amplification specific from an exogenous DNA is detected in the HEX channel.
