Entender c\u00f3mo evolucionan las respuestas de anticuerpos con el tiempo puede ofrecer informaci\u00f3n valiosa sobre el \u00e9xito de la vacunaci\u00f3n, la exposici\u00f3n en el campo y la din\u00e1mica de la infecci\u00f3n dentro de un reba\u00f1o. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Analizar la evoluci\u00f3n de los datos de seguimiento a lo largo del tiempo puede aportar un contexto valioso que quiz\u00e1 no se aprecie solo con el resultado de una \u00fanica prueba.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Los siguientes ejemplos pr\u00e1cticos ilustran c\u00f3mo el seguimiento serol\u00f3gico puede ayudar a tomar decisiones m\u00e1s fundamentadas sobre la salud del reba\u00f1o y complementar otras herramientas de diagn\u00f3stico, como la PCR.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 nos pueden revelar los datos de monitorizaci\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5 data-section-id=\"gk8ffl\" data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1026\">Posible exposici\u00f3n en el campo<\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1296\">En una manada de cerdas se observaron cambios inesperados en los perfiles de anticuerpos durante el seguimiento rutinario. Este ejemplo muestra c\u00f3mo el seguimiento de las tendencias a lo largo del tiempo puede ayudar a distinguir entre una respuesta normal a la vacuna y una posible circulaci\u00f3n del virus en la comunidad. <\/p>\n<h5 data-section-id=\"8z7ner\" data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1608\"> <\/h5>\n<h5 data-section-id=\"8z7ner\" data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1608\">Confirmar una infecci\u00f3n activa<\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1837\">En este caso, se observaron cambios en los perfiles de anticuerpos antes de que los resultados de la PCR confirmaran la infecci\u00f3n activa. En conjunto, los datos proporcionaron informaci\u00f3n valiosa sobre la evoluci\u00f3n del brote y permitieron tomar decisiones de gesti\u00f3n oportunas. <\/p>\n<p>Para gestionar eficazmente el PRRS no basta con el resultado de una sola prueba.
